Severin is one of Switzerland’s most experienced digital technology leaders, with more than twenty years of experience creating digital products and platforms.

Before co-founding HEART, he served as Managing Partner and Head of Interaction Development at Hinderling Volkart, helping shape one of the country’s most respected digital agencies. Following the agency joining DEPT, he continued as Managing Partner and Technical Director.

Throughout his career, Severin has been technically responsible for digital experiences for brands including Swiss International Air Lines, Switzerland Tourism, PostFinance, and FREITAG. His work has received recognition from leading industry awards, including Best of Swiss Web and ADC Europe.

Starting as an independent interactive developer during the early days of the web, Severin successfully navigated every major technological shift, from rich interactive experiences and frontend engineering to modern full-stack architectures and AI-powered applications.

At HEART, Severin ensures that ambitious creative ideas are supported by robust, elegant technology. His focus is on building systems that are scalable, maintainable, and designed to create lasting business value.
